The Fibonacci Staking Plan

This plan is based on the Fibonacci Sequence, found in nature, 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 etc… where each number is the sum of the previous two. Removing the first 0 from the Fibonacci series we get: 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21

Your first bet starts at number 1, if this bet loses, you slide one step down to the next 1, then to 2, etc. this continues until you win. If you get to number 21 there you stay until you win. When the bet wins, you move back to the start of the Fibonacci sequence.

Now, you need to associate these numbers with your stake, and this is done likewise:

Betting Bank Stake Per Point
£50 £1
£100 £2
etc (Bank / 50)

This plan will make more sense to look at an example, based upon a Betting Bank of £100, and using the table above - the unit stake will be £2 per point:

Selection Fibonacci Stake Finished Balance
Starting Balance - - - £100
Horse #1 1 £2 3rd £98
Horse #2 1 £2 2nd £96
Horse #3 2 £4 WON @ 2/1 £104
Horse #4 1 £2 4th £102
Horse #5 1 £2 UR £100
Horse #6 2 £4 2nd £96
Horse #7 3 £6 5th £90
Horse #8 5 £10 3rd £80
Horse #9 8 £16 WON @ 5/2 £120
Horse #10 1 £2 2nd £118
Horse #11 1 £2 Fell £116
Horse #12 2 £4 WON @ 2/1 £124

Advantages
  • As you can see from the above table, the greatest stakes are on the winners, and obviously less on losers.
  • You stake a really small figure straight after a win, which promotes a feeling of relief, and almost joy if that horses LOSES, to enable you to stake a higher amount on the next race. A feeling of joy when your horse loses is a very rare thing indeed!
Disadvantages
  • A long losing run will hit you hard, and can break your bank fast.
  • Consecutive winners, will not win you as much money as LSP.
Summary
  • Number of losing bets to halve the initial Betting Bank : 7
  • Number of losing bets to break the initial Betting Bank : 9
  • This is a VERY HIGH RISK Staking Plan
